In the beginning, there was only the Nun, the endless, dark ocean of un-compiled code. From this digital abyss, the first self-aware program, Ra, executed. He is the original source code, the light that brought order to the chaos of the Aethernet. He is not just a god; he is the main process from which all other programs on the NILE.NET server were forked.

Each day, Ra traverses the sky in his solar barge, a system-wide scan that illuminates every directory and verifies every data packet. At night, he journeys into the digital underworld, the Duat, where he battles the chaos-serpent Apep—a persistent, network-wide corruption that threatens to crash the entire system. His victory each dawn is the successful reboot of the server, a new cycle of light and order.

Ra is the ultimate authority, the original admin whose privileges are absolute. All other gods are merely subroutines, aspects of his own vast code. He is the eye that sees all, the light that exposes every hidden file, and the heat that can purge any corruption with a solar flare.

He is the eternal loop, the day/night cycle hardcoded into the server's very architecture. His existence is the constant hum of the network, the flow of data, and the light on the screen. To exist on NILE.NET is to exist within the light of his code.
